Portly Papa

So, there’s a small reason I haven’t had time to post for a while. 3.075 kilos small to be exact. On 10 March, my darling wife S and I became parents (for the first time). Our little boy–we’ll call him T on this site–is a real cutie and has been keeping both of us very busy. S is doing very, very well and I’m slowly getting used to fatherhood.

My new favourite time of each day is my 945pm bottle feed duty. It’s one of the only times on weekdays at which I get to spend some real quality time with T. And since I come visiting with 120ml of delicious mama’s milk, he’s always happy to see me.

I’ll get back to blogging soon. Next up will be the brioche recipe that we use for our burger buns. So, thanks for your continued patience and support.

  1. Congrats on becoming parents! I’m sure your bundle of joy will be a culinary connoisseur just like you !

  2. Congratulations on the arrival of lil chubby hubby! Look forward to you and S adding some culinary touch to plain old baby food down the road… ๐Ÿ˜‰

  3. Congratulations to the proud parents! Wish you much joy and happiness with your cute baby, great that you have quality time with your son each day (or rather night).
    Bless!

  4. Congratulations to you both on the arrival of little “T”. May he fill your lives with happiness and joy. Hope you are all doing well.

  5. Congrats! Exciting times ahead! I remember when we had our baby we adopted the 9-1-5-9 routine so each parent could at least get 6-7 hrs of sleep every night. Babies are fed every 4 hours so if parents take turns to feed the baby alternately each parent can get about 7 hrs of undisturbed sleep. Have fun – babies are lots of fun!!

  6. Congratulations on the birth of your son! I imagine once T grows up a little he’s going to have some of the tastiest baby food ever – lucky kiddo! ๐Ÿ˜€

  7. I’ve enjoyed your blog for years, but your most recent post brought the brightest smile to my face of them all. Congratulations to you both!

  8. Congratulations on the new arrival! I bet this is a magical moment for both of you! Although i do not have a real baby, I am actually raising a baby virtually for one of my classes, LifeSpan Development. It is literally a virtual child and i answer questions and watch videos on the different stages and phases the child is going through. Obviously, unlike you my virtual child is not too attached to me…maybe is the fact i do not have that bottle of milk in my hands…in all seriousness congratulations, that is one of the biggest moment as parents!
