Okay, nothing to do with food, but oh my lord do I want one of these babies! Don’t know what it is? Click here. All I can say is, “Wow”.

About Aun Koh

Aun has always loved food and travel, passions passed down to him from his parents. This foundation, plus a background in media, pushed him to start Chubby Hubby in 2005. He loves that this site allows him to write about the things he adores--food, style, travel, his wife and his three kids!

  1. haha totally agree! the only problematic thing is the touchscreen keyboard…may not be as easy to use as predictive messaging.

  2. Do you know I basically had to leave work in excitement when it was announced the other day? I cannot cannot cannot wait until June.

    DROOLING!

  3. hi ch, not sure if you know this, but chef julien is doing a cooking demo at ngee ann kinokuniya this saturday at 2.30pm. 2 dishes from french classics modern kitchen and a booksigning after. was wondering if you’d like to mention it on your blog. cheers.

  4. I hate to burst your bubble, but it has a lot of drawbacks.

The first is that it won’t be released in Asia til 2008. bah humbug.

The battery only lasts 5 hours if you play video and is not replaceable.

The camera is only 2 megapixels!

    And there is no GPS.

But it does look cool and I still want it too.

  5. I have a pencil, a sharpener, paper and stereo speakes the size of a 1965 VW Beetle. I have a love for pork and my Levis have exceptionally large holes in the knees.

There’s nothing more in life I need.

    Biggles

  6. i personally think its a totally cool toy, but jus a toy. Apple isn’t selling the phone, they are selling the design and the concept and the lifestyle. I think you prob already do, you work on your iMac, you listen to music on your iPod and now, you talk on your iPhone.

  7. First of all, I just have to say that your blog is incredible and your foodie experiences are something I’m definitely jealous of. I think you speaking so highly and lovingly about your wife is adorable. I told my hubby about this blog in hopes that he’ll learn a few things. 🙂

Second, like Rose said, there are some drawbacks to this phone. I wanted it just as badly until I saw the price. $499-$599 for a phone is OUCH! Another thing you might want to think about is the screen will get scratched up quite easily. Just a heads up!!

    Keep up the good work!

  8. hi chubby hubby. what a great website. i love your photos. they are simply stunning.
err.. about the iphone, i don’t really get it why people want to spend hundreds & hundreds of dollars on a cell phone? a cell phone is just a cell phone no matter how pretty and how cool it looks. cell phone is meant for emergency and convenience while you’re on the road. people (especially my friends in asia) always want to get the latest cellphone on the market. why spend a fortune on something that will be out of trend in the next 6 months or so? i think you’d better spend that money on great food or put those benjamins in your retirement fund. 🙂
